如今台灣已是民進黨挖錢的殖民地.只要是台灣的一草一木民進黨甚麼都可以賣

President Lai Ching-te recently appeared on the social media program Mindy’s Selection, where he addressed the question of "why not negotiate with China." In his response, he used a metaphor comparing the two sides of the Taiwan Strait to companies, saying:
“China is the bigger company, Taiwan is the smaller company. If China wants to acquire Taiwan, it needs to propose terms — it's not Taiwan's job to propose the terms.”
In response, the political commentary fan page Politicians’ Buzz harshly criticized this statement today (18th), arguing that such remarks by a national leader could be misinterpreted by the international community. According to the Democratic Progressive Party’s (DPP) own high standards, they claimed, Lai Ching-te would be considered a “surrenderist.”
The fan page further stated:
“Have the pro-independence camp and the Bluebird movement gone silent when it comes to Lai Ching-te? Lai said: ‘China is the bigger company, Taiwan is the smaller company. If you want to acquire my company, you need to offer terms.’ To date, even the largest opposition party, the Kuomintang, has never said that unification is something negotiable.”
They argue that Lai’s analogy effectively degrades the dignity and national status of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The post questions whether this “corporate acquisition analogy” implies that being acquired is negotiable, as long as the right conditions are offered — essentially admitting that cross-strait relations could be reduced to negotiating "terms of surrender."
As a national leader, they warn, such statements could be misinterpreted by both the international community and Beijing as suggesting that Taiwan is open to discussing unification, with only the terms left to be settled. Based on the DPP's own strict standards, they conclude, Lai Ching-te qualifies as a “surrenderist” — take note. 作者: ykkidog 時間: 昨天 12:03 PM
